Lesson Twenty-Seven — Nazirite, Passover, Departure from Sinai

This lesson continues on the Law of Moses and activities in preparation to leave Sinai.
Pre-Class Assignments
This MUST be completed before class.
- Read Numbers 6-10 in your Bible.
- Answer the Study Questions from the Study Questions Book.
- Memorize Numbers 6:24-27 (in your heart language).
- Continue working on the Law of Moses Worksheet in Appendix II. As you are reading the text, build out step 1 on the worksheet assignment.
- Write a 100-200 word response to each of the following questions:
- Numbers 9:14b says, "You shall have one statue, both for the sojourner and for the native." What does this mean in the context that in which it is written? Is there any application for today?
Class Timeline (50 minutes)
- 2-3 Minutes: Opening Prayer led by students
- 3-5 Minutes: Bible Fluency Song, "Pentateuch" (to save time, this should be cued up before class).
- 5 Minutes: Quiz #25
- Watch approximately 45 minutes of the movie, Moses (1995) starring Ben Kingsley.
- 2-3 Minutes: Closing Prayer
