This lesson continues on the Law of Moses and activities in preparation to leave Sinai.
Pre-Class Assignments
This MUST be completed before class.
- Read Numbers 1-5 in your Bible.
- Answer the Study Questions from the Study Questions Book.
- Memorize Numbers 2:2 (in your heart language).
- Continue working on the Law of Moses Worksheet in Appendix II. As you are reading the text, build out step 1 on the worksheet assignment.
- Write a 100-200 word response to each of the following questions:
- Reading Numbers Ch 5, how does this procedure protect the honor of the woman against a jealous husband? After reading the provided commentaries, how do you interpret the phrase, "and her thigh shall fall away?"
Class Timeline (50 minutes)
- 2-3 Minutes: Opening Prayer led by students
- 5 Minutes: Quiz #24
- 3-5 Minutes: Bible Fluency Song, "Pentateuch" (to save time, this should be cued up before class).
- Watch approximately 45 minutes of the movie, Moses (1995) starring Ben Kingsley.
- 2-3 Minutes: Closing Prayer
